Karl Kelley will present his talk In the Epicurean Garden: How to Enjoy Life

From the agora in ancient Athens to the present day, we will explore strategies for

finding meaningful and lasting joy in life. Although some things have changed a great

deal since ancient Athens, most of the important issues have not. I will discuss how

Epicurean philosophy has influenced some of my current research on organizational

culture and the cultivation of personal well-being.
