Through an interactive simulation and discussion, we'll explore the realities facing ALICE households (Asset Limited, Income-Constrained, Employed)—working individuals and families who earn above the poverty level but still struggle to afford basic necessities. Learn how ALICE is impacting our community and gain insight into the impossible choices many of our neighbors face every day.

Kathy Evangelista has served as Executive Director of Batavia United Way since September 2022, following three years of service on the organization's Board of Directors. A Batavia resident since 2005, Kathy and her husband have proudly raised their two children in the community.
